All male officers when I went in, so I was a bit skeptical and I’ve never been to a police station. Officer Brown was the person who helped me. Even though there was a mix up beyond both of us, he kept his patience and was nice the entire time.

This is just for record to show I made an effort in case something happens. I am moving into a safer building and am worried leaving my parents due to someone shining a light in my shower window and my parents thinking there's a logical reason that's not threatening. I called to make a report and 2 women advised I cannot report anything unless there is something happening in the moment. First woman offended me because when I described the mans looks she angrily cut me off as if I'm prejudice. I prefer working with diverse people and support equal rights for all ethnicities and even the LGBTQ movement. I do not feel supported by the police at this nearest chicago station and hopefully when I move into inner city the police will at least believe me if i had to make a report.

The staff is diverse, courteous, and professional. The station is impeccably clean and well kept.nI was attended to in a timely manner. I was treated with respect. I was thoroughly instructed on what steps to take in regards to my report. They were very patient and kind.nI don't think people understand the kind of pressures and dangers cops face day in and day out.nI felt safe here. I'm happy to have a local police department I can count on.

Tried to do a police report they didn't take they're time to help me and didn't take me serious at all
