Need help with items
Came in to do some work to find out it is a small classroom filled with children’s books, kiddie tables and no internet. They really should rename the “library” to be called a children’s room or children’s library and also keep the same name as the park. This “library” is in the Rutherford Sayre field house. Too confusing. Hard to locate. Silly waste of time.
Great kids library. No computers there is wi-fi hotspots that can be checked out but need to be placed on hold. Good friendly staff :) mrs. Dalia is one of the best children’s Librarian in chicago public library has fun crafts and story time as well, se habla espanol:)
This is a gem in comparing to other libraries. Despite micro size; just one room in the park's building there are books for everyone, toys and duplos for little kids. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Weird opening hours due to Rahm's cuts make this place not busy. Shame on you Alderman Villegas and Sposato for not pushing for a new big building. One room smaller than my living room is a perfect example how city really cares about owns taxpayers. Because library is located in the park's building there is a nice playground to enjoy and railroad track for little trains fans. Sometimes it's worth to drive for me to get a book there and have fun on the playground with my kids.
