Nice quiet and peaceful beautiful grass
Great little park in a very clean neighborhood
The park is kind of a modge podge of different trends in park structures. There is a massive concrete whale that is ancient, but also a newer train structure. I was told they are redoing the park in the near future, my guess is 2020.nnWhile a good size for smaller children, the park has no fencing and is off of busy Old Orchard Rd. The pickle ball and basketball courts are new and very nice. It has tables and benches. Overall fun park, but I will not be disappointed when they renovate.
A very cute skokie park but what happened to the tire swing??
Overall the park is great! There is a nicely paved walking trail. Beautiful tennis and basketball courts. There is great visibility for parents to see kids around the play structure.nI like the playground area... mostly. When I was there in late July 2018, the sand had greenery growing out of it. The tiles onto which the children could land from the slide, looked moist and mossy. At first, I thought the play structure was old but after a closer look, I saw it was just made to look that way. The design is great for younger/shorter kids and great for adults to accompany them since there is nothing for us to bang our heads on.nThere is a bike rack.n10 park benches; 2 by the courts, 2 on the trail, 6 around the play structure.nI like that the square picnic tables are right near the play area. There are more in between the trees and they are very well shaded.nGarbage cans are well placednPark Amenities:nAthletic Permits IssuednBaseball FieldnBasketball CourtsnPickleball CourtsnFutsal CourtnDrinking FountainnPicnic AreanPlaygrounds (mostly sand-based)nRestrooms (April–October)nSoccer FieldnWalking Path Map
