I've walked the 2.5 mile stretch of path through the forest preserve between Dempster & Golf Rd in Morton Grove almost every day this summer. With all the rain we've had, I thought there would be a bumper crop of mosquitos this year, but I've had only one bite all summer long. Bravo, guys! You must be doing something right!
I raise monarch butterflies in my home with milkweed I have on my property. I asked if I needed to cover The milkweed during spraying and they assured me that it was water soluble ingredients and all I had to do was wash it off and it would be perfectly safe for them to eat. Two days later 140 caterpillars died! Why do they have to lie! What is the point of that!nI am so disappointed in our village
Whatever these guys are doing, it works! I walk every day with the dog in various places: on the trail, in the prairie, the deep woods, by the water, in hot and cold weather, morning or evening, wind or no wind. THERE ARE NO MOSQUITOES!nnI don't even remember hearing any buzzing, much less getting stung. Luckily my DEET stockpile isn't perishable as it seems like I won't use it for a while.
