I stopped into Vinissimo and picked up a few bottles for the holidays. I loved the space and Guy was very helpful in helping me select a few bottles (I'm not very wine knowledgeable) that were in my price range. The selection is wide, with wines from all over the world, but not overwhelming. Great experience here and I'm glad to have a go-to wine shop in the area. Well done Vinissimo!
Vinissimo Wine Shop is the place to go. The owner is knowledgeable, courteous, and nice to deal with. The selections are top notch. And prices are affordable. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a gift, restocking their cabinets, or to enjoying with your next dinner. 5 out of 5 stars!
My husband and I stopped by Vinissimo Wine Shop last week and we were blown away by the selection. Guy clearly knows his wines. He helped us choose the perfect bottles for a weeknight dinner and for those special occasions.nnWhen the time comes when we can go to parties again and need to bring the perfect hostess gifts, I know where I'll be buying my wine for those events too.
Driving down Central St in Evanston and excited to see the brown paper off of the windows at Vinissimo. Parked the car and went in to check it out. I love the space, but more importantly I love the wines. I saw a few of my favorites on the shelf, but talked with the owner, Guy, about some of the other wines. He was very knowledgeable, and after a few questions of my likes and dislikes he put together a mixed case of wines to explore. My wife and I loved the first three bottles he recommended and are looking forward to trying the rest. Our new go to wine shop. Check it out and I am sure it will become yours too.
What a fantastic and beautiful new wine shop in an amazing area. Guy has curated an amazing selection of wines from all around the world and is wonderful at pointing you to towards the right selection for you. I look forward to frequenting this new gem and discovering many new wines!
