OMG! Silver ring was bent. Needed professional. Nordstrom only fixes jewelry sold by vendors in store, ugh. But the Nordy associate referred me here and I couldn't be happier. The work was completed next day and it's was sparkling new. $25 cash total. There's a $1.50 or $1.75 fee if you use a card. I want to go there and have them shine up all my silver.
Well first off this is the second time I brought a chain to be repaired, and it broke off in the same place in which it was soldered. The first time it happened, I just thought it was an accident. This time I didn't even get the opportunity to put it on! I was gently wiping it with a jewelry cleaning cloth, and it snapped in the exact same place! To top it off, the older guy who owns the place was as rude as all outdoors. I Definitely will not be back!
Charged $1 more to pay with credit card for a $12 battery. 30 minutes for a battery repair and then when I get there precisely 30 minutes later he is headed out for a 30 minute break. Good thing I had a timer set. Then held my card in his hand and didn’t give it right back. Draw your own conclusion.
Heard all the bad reviews but tried it, yes, no customer service im not asking for the royal treatment just good etiquette, I walked in said good afternoon gentlemen just kept working second time I said good afternoon he turned around and just looked at me I wasn't sure if he spoke English I once again third time smiled and said afternoon, finally got a response, picking up my watch he didn't handed to me just threw it on the counter, all I have to say is wow and need to go find another repair watch.
The jeweler is an expert. He explains why the difference in prices for the battery watches. Very detailed...and he's got good rock music while I waited for my watches.
