I am a teacher at Roycemore School in Evanston and I just took my Pre-K class to the fire station as an extension to our Community Helpers Unit. Chief Taylor was our tour guide and was phenomenal!!! I only expected to be at the station for 15 minutes but he spent an hour showing us around! Chief Taylor was wonderful with the kids and was very engaging. He let the kids climb inside of the Dive Truck and showed us the living quarters. He also sent us home with plastic firefighter hats and a lot of coloring sheets! We had a lot of happy kids. PS: Happy 31st Work Anniversary!
