I use Avis because it's preferred by my company. I like my local Avis office because it's close enough to walk to and the employees are very nice. I am lowering my 5 ud83cudf1f review to 4 because I cannot seem to get a clean car from this location. I've mentioned it AND I've made it a request in my rental document. One of the most recent rentals had half eaten Oreo cookies on the front passenger side floor and stains on the front seats. We are in the midst of COVID 19 and obviously these cars aren't sanitized. Also, this location needs to be deep cleaned as well.
not car I asked for and the clerk wasn't efficient, did not take me out to look at the car or tell me anything about it.
Friendly people but thats about it. The person who helped us was not wearing a mask. The car looked wiped down inside but hardly cleaned. The outside was disgusting covered in bloody bug guts. You would think during these times it would be detailed in and out. I would not recommend
They gave me a car that was slightly damaged and they skipped the inspection at the time of renting and then after return called me asking why i did not notify about the damage.. nice scam.. also the car had cigarette smell and wasn't clean..
Reserved a car for Evanston location, when I got there they didn’t have a car for me so I had to come to this location. First car they offered me smelled like trash and cigarettes, when I asked for a clean car they offered another one that smelled the same. So finally got me a third car that smelled like it’s been chained smoked in for days plus the engine light was on. Never coming back again.
