I love the school. They help and they are very supportive. They care for all of the staff members and students . I am greatful for CHICAGO EXCEL ACADEMY. If you are thinking about attending here , you should and you will learn more and have a great experience.
My child is new to the school. Seems to be a great school at time of enrollment and orientation. Hope the staff live up to my expectations. But question to other parents who has children attending or graduated from the school, can you inform me if the students have privilege of Senior Prom?
The school lies alot if ur child transfers in as a senior and about to graduate n they need 10 more credits or more they'll put your kid and sophomore or freshman and make them do all 4 years over n try to get them to do 6 more classes in summer school and they don't care much about the safety they take phone and coats no school supplies their very disorganized people are never in the office when parents arrive they don't ever answer the phone they don't ever call the parents and let them no anything important they line up like a military school the lunch room is the gym room. So think b4 u come here
LOVE THE STAFF MY SON WENT IN WITH ONLY TWO CREDITS AND HE GOT ALL HIS CREDITS AND GRAUDATE
I was disapponited after driving 45 minutes to drop of my step-daughter, it is sad that they penalize the kids for being late, 5 mins late at that! In certain situations a grace peroid should be tolerable especially when they have far to travel in bad weather... I understand rules and policies but at least you have the kids trying to come to school.
