The hotel room was dated, there was no back on the remote, we requested to check in early as our flight landed at 8:30 am and a room close to the elevator being I had 2 elderly disabled people traveling with me. Once we arrived after 1 pm the front desk person stated our room was not ready as it was still being cleaned due to check out not being until 12pm. We waited another hour and were told the room was still not ready by the manager. Explained we just flew in and we requested an early check-in. Management went on to say I was not an IHG member so my request could not be honored. I explained to her that I am indeed an IHG member but still, she did nothing to assist so we left and decided to come back later.nnArrived back at the hotel to check-in after 8:00 pm and was told our room was clean but didn't have towels. I was then told to park around back and take the stairs. I immediately advised the staff that my family could not take use a walker to go up the stairs. They placed us in a different room that had no heat. We tried calling the front desk but the phone lines stayed busy.nnThe next day we left to go to the funeral. We arrive back at the hotel after 8 pm again and the room was still cold. The front desk phone was still busy so I walked up there to notify them of the heat issue. Adam came to check it out and realized the heat was indeed broken. He offered us more blankets for the next couple of nights. Of course, my elderly mother was not happy with that resolution and she told him about it. Adam scurried back to the front desk where he and Shawna checked other availability and stated there was none. I explained how this has far been the worst experience ever. They contacted the manager and the manager scolded them about the issue asking why didn't we report it the first night. Adam explained to the manager how we tried calling but the phone lines were broken.nnAfter about an hour of back and forth with the manager. Shawna finally stated there was a last-minute cancellation and they had to get the manager to approve us moving. The manager had Adam take pictures of the thermostat but made mention that 60 degrees is not that cold. Adam offered to help move our things to the next room and end up being very pleasant but fact that the management team was so unhelpful was appalling.nnAs I was looking around, I realize the elevator inspection had expired over a month ago. So at this point, I'm wondering what else is not up to code.nnIn short, we were finally moved to a different unit (on the 3rd floor well past the elevator with 2 disabled people) but the overall stay was horrible. I do not recommend this place to anyone who is looking to be treated fairly and like a guest.
We rented a king suite with a large bathroom and full kitchen. The lobby was large and looked last updated 10 years ago.nnWhen I got to the hotel, the receptionist was no where to be found. I heard a holler “we’re over here”. I saw employees sitting down at a table eating. The woman asked what she could help me with, which was my reservation.nnAfter I had payed for this hotel and arrived, she told me they were going to have to put a $200 hold on my card for incidentals, and I would receive it back when I checked out. Okay, not big deal. Fast forward to three days later, and I’m still waiting to receive my $200. I called the hotel today, and the gentleman told me it could take up to 10 DAYS!nnWe park and are ready to go inside. I have my husband and two service dogs with me, and it’s FREEZING cold, so we find somewhere to park near an outside door to quickly get inside. I go to put my keycard in the outside door, and it isn’t locked! On the way to our room we realize it is SO loud in the hallways with people screaming and loud music.nnWe finally get into our room, and there is an awful mildew smell! It was untidy, and the room was dark. The lamps wouldn’t turn on, and those that did flickered. Neither phone in the room worked, so I had to call the front desk from my cell to ask for the checkout time. At 11pm, someone starts vacuuming! What the heck?nnI will never suggest this hotel to anyone. How can you charge so much money, and have so many issues?
Phones to call front desk or out period dont work. Staff says, use your cell phone. No TV guide, staff says you just have to scroll and find a channel you like. Never stay againud83dude15
We were very happy with almost everything about this staybridge. The only thing that could have improved were breakfast choices but we realize different counties and states are in different stages with the covid-19.
The younger gentleman at the front desk was excellent and a great help, he was able to accommodate me on short notice. Really happy with the staff at this Staybridge. Highly recommend!
