They have always been great at helping me. When I had to go on disability they helped me with any problems. And now that I'm retired they have been awesome. Getting my papers together was a disaster for me, but I stopped in and they had me organized and the papers turned in in a short period of time. Just stop in and ask for help. They're great!

I have visited SERS twice. I was treated with respect, received answers to all my questions and found the personnel very helpful. Also I have always received a return call when I left message. They are few and we are many.

Have been working with different SRS departments in the refunds, services, payroll, and pension sections for almost 6 months now. I hardly ever receive a call back from the numerous messages I have left by phone and rarely receive responses by email. The customer service with one person will be great, but I have to go through 3-4 different bad eggs before I can speak to someone that 1) seems to really care and 2) is knowledgeable about the subject matter. Horrible experience and takes much longer than is needed. I’m still working the issue as it is unsettled and have been actively trying to resolve it since August 2017 because of poor information they provided me with in 2013.

Most of the time, you get good service, but it is the employees responsibility to ensure your records are correct. Do not wait until the last year to check your retirement totals....! And never go in asking for assistance at 4:15 pm!!!
