The quality is excellent, the price is reasonable for some things, however the customer service seems to vary according to how you are dressed. When I wore an expensive suit, staff was friendly and helpful, yard clothes? Polite by talked to me as if I had a mental deficiency.nnInterestingly enough I have purchased several things, for which they have done valuations ( they hold at least one government appraisal contract) and their valuations seem to be all over the map with coins and watches not being their strong point.)nnOverall good, if some slightly overpriced items, though they do have considerable floor space to pay for, though I prefer visiting the younger brother in the family in Springfield, Illinois.nnIf you need custom work or repairs their are none better than the Denny's family in any location, however the customer service after several visits does seem to be linked to how much money, or how stupid they think you are.nnGiven how many rich farmers are in the area that seems to be a good way to lose a lot of money, I know we have tens of thousands, easily tied up in jewelry, and think it's rather silly for sales people who traditionally get paid commission to be either arrogant or condescending with clients, no matter what the business.

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were very happy with our purchase and will definitely continue to shop there in the future.

Denney Jewelers is an excellent place everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about the products. When I walked in I didn't know much about Diamonds or jewelry but Doug took the time to educate me. I work in sales and so I know what good customer service should look like but at Denney Jewelers the service was excellent.

Denney Jewelers recently used their laser machine to fix my eye glasses. They said it would take about 45 minutes. I decided to wait. It was a bit beyond the 45 minutes when they told me that they usually had two employees who could do the repair, but that only one was working since it was a Saturday. They said they would only charge me 1/2 price. A little while later when they brought my repaired eye glasses, they refused to take any payment at all since it had taken Longer. They certainly didn't have to give me a free repair, but it was a very nice thing to do.

Very polite staff, courteous, upfront and direct. I had a fairly big problem to fix and they happily and directly addressed the issue. Good selection, too
