Camping World of Springfield

We were very hesitant on purchasing from Camping World initially.. we read a lot of mixed reviews. So we did our research and took our time. We decided to do outside financing which in my opinion was a great decision. We worked very closely with Leia.. SHE WAS AMAZING. She made us feel very comfortable. She was never pushy and made us feel like we had to make a decision quickly. She understood that we wanted to take our time to find the right camper for us. She was very professional and timely. We are so lucky we had her as our sales person! She went above and beyond and cannot thank her enough. There was a few things wrong with our camper (cosmetic and small fixes) and the service department took care of all of it! They were all very friendly.

Mr. Cooper helped us today at the Springfield IL. store and I have to say that he changed my mind on how I feel about doing business with Camping World. My first experience was very bad in 2020. I went there to purchase a camper they had in inventory and could not even look at it. Left mad and said I would never return. Well today I did and was shopping for a generator and thankfully this great person approached us and asked to help. Told him what I was there to get and he was very eager to help. Nice man. He ended up suggesting a different generator but was more than I wanted to pay. Because of his great service I paid more for a generator and left very happy. Great job...

Great customer service! We had an issue with our vehicle's suspension system malfunctioning while hooking up our camper. Although this was a defective part with our vehicle and not the camper we purchased, the Camping World staff supported us through this problem and even gave us a gift card to help with the cost of our vehicle repair. We had a great experience all the way through our buying process. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful in finding a camper that was perfect for our family's needs and wants. He even continued communication with us after our purchase to make sure we were happy and provide any support we needed. The financial team was great at explaining all the available options and finding a plan that suited us. We were given a very thorough walk through of our camper after our purchase to make sure we felt comfortable with all features and gave us the opportunity to ask any questions. We will definitely be buying from Camping World moving forward and highly recommend anyone in the market for campers to consider buying from here!!

We had a very bad experience buying our last trailer. I am very glad to say that was not the case with Camping World Springfield.nnMy wife and I spent three Tuesdays at Camping World in Springfield before finalizing the deal on our Keystone Cougar 315RLS.nOur first day there we ran Keri Holloway ragged looking at Many trailers, She was happy to do it.nThe second Tuesday the wife and I spent several hours sitting in ,what is now our trailer, just getting acquainted with the trailer. Again, we were accommodated by Keri. Took us to the trailer, provided a battery so we could move slides, turn on lights, etc. until we were worn out.nWe finalized the deal on the third Tuesday, had our walk around and were embarrassed by Diana as she announced our names to the whole store. We ended up having our coach delivered since we did not have a hitch yet. Jason delivered it to us on the fourth Tuesday of our adventure.nSince we received our new coach all I have had to do is make it ours. What that means is the quality has far surpassed that of our last trailer. I had NOT had to make 30 days of repairs before using the trailer.nnMy wife and I are thrilled with the whole experience at Camping World Springfield and would recommend anyone go there and look up Keri. My husband and I visited Camping World because we wanted to start looking for a camper for the upcoming season. We had a basic idea of what we were looking for based on tow weight and price but really just wanted to see what was available. We worked with Leia who was absolutely amazing. She told us she had been with the company for a few years but was new to the sales department. I wouldn’t have guessed if she didn’t tell us. She was knowledgeable and very easy to work with. We felt absolutely no pressure to buy anything while we were there and she spent as much time as she could with us, showing us models that fit the parameters we gave her. Not once did we feel she was trying to up-sell is on anything. I appreciate when a sales associate is honest and is actually listening to me instead of just trying to make a sale. Leia introduced us to the manager when she had to leave for another appointment. John was enthusiastic and asked how our experience went and if there was anything we felt we hadn’t seen. Never once during our interaction with him did we feel pressured to walk away with a camper. The entire experience was wonderful. The selection here is also quite extensive. We walked away having to narrow it down from multiple selections that fit our parameters. I do wish they carried new pop ups, though, as our tow weight was for a 4.3L engine and we originally went in looking for something on the smaller side. But all-in-all, we certainly plan to go back and will recommend this store to anyone looking for a camper or any other camping needs as their store has a wide selection of camping accessories.
