I am proud to say I am a student at Vincennes University. It is the most amazing school with the best faculty, financial aid department teachers and facility. Not to mention the most inexpensive School in the state. I am a sophomore and I've been to three colleges this is the best college in the world! I would recommend it to anyone!
Great local school! Instructors have real life experiences in the fields they teach.
Barely taught me what I needed to know for getting into the IT field, the 4-year IT degree didn't even teach any real IT courses except Disaster Recovery. The whole IT program is a joke. Only reason I got a job was because I had connections through my family. Everyone else laughed me right out the door.
Wanted to share my experience in the dorms on campus so others can get a feel for what to expect. As a woman living in this Godare Hall, I would not recommend it to another woman. If something is broken in your room, the maintenance crew will find any and every excuse to enter your room at inappropriate times and invade your privacy. There has been times where I am asleep, and I wake up and there is a group of men standing in my doorway watching me sleep. The first time, I brushed the situation off but after the second time I realized this is not a coincidence. I urge the staff to give the students more privacy. We are adults as well at the end of the day. You should not be able to barge into anyone's room regardless of the situation. I would have not taken action to write this review, but I feel like I am not longer safe living in my room I cannot even sleep without being worried someone might come in. Even other staff members have expressed to me how they do not think that the way I am being treated is right. I just do not want this experience to happen to any other young woman coming to college for the first time. Thanks.
