Customer service is extremely poor! They are misleading when they inform you of wait times on their automated answering service. They Sent a letter certified threatening to auction off all my things, but come to find out they don't do auctions at the facility near me. So much more I wanna say.

Not happy with the service I received. Went to pickup the truck I ordered and it was dirty and not filled up with gas. Manager told me I would get credit for filling up gas tank which I did not received. Before I got in the truck I walked around and there was damage to the lower panel on the truck. Took pictures and got into truck to get it home right away. Barely made it to gas station. Filled truck up and got home. Opened the back of the truck and it was filthy. There was 3 large door mats on the floor. So cleaned it up and got busy moving. Got to my destination with no problems and the gas mileage was good. After I cleaned out the back of the truck a second time I returned it to the local uhaul rep. I explained to her what the manager in sioux city had pulled. Not walking out to the truck,not having it ready to go and lying about the gas credit I would receive. I would like the district manager to contact me to make this right...update 11/5/20. The gas credit was made right. Still not happy getting a dirty filthy truck.

Had a reservation for a month and called to confirm it and was told that the trailer wasn’t even available and I had to go to my destination that is 4 hours away to even get a trailer. Been on the phone for 30 minutes and up to get some sort of customer service and haven’t received one piece of information willing to help me or adhere to my needs as a customer

I had paid my storage unit a month in advance while I was unsure when I was going to have my couch sold, that was within the unit. I had been able to sell my couch on 09/10/20 and notified Eric (the gentleman who looked like Santa). He inspected my unit and told me I was good to go and proceeded to check me out. As we finalized paper work for checking out I asked the gentleman how I would be receiving my refund of $85.50. Eric at 06:23 that day said that I would be receiving it through my debit card.nn(As understood Eric stated to me that I would get it same day or 3 business days)nnTime went by and I had yet to receive my refund for my storage unit. So being the person I am I followed up with the store, the phone rang, rang and rang for a long period of time. So I decide to get ahold of a corporate associate and figure this out. I explained what happened and she then called the store directly. No answer, she then left a message and then went back to the call with me. She explained to me that no one answered the phone either. So she sent a email and left a voicemail about what was going on. She insisted that I go in and speak to the manager so I did on 09/21/20.nnThe manager spoke to me and said he “couldn’t find the email” then he found it all of a sudden. He looked it over and and couldn’t refund me because he wasn’t experienced with it. So he reached over to the phone and dialed corporate (his boss) and placed him on speaker so I could hear what he was saying.nnLater to find out that Eric the one who checked me out “accidentally” pushed the cash button and now where disputing wither they gave me a refund or one of his employees is a pick pocketer.nnI’ve done a lot of business with this company and this Is how they treat me. I have always used credit cards while renting things from this store. I left my information twice and yet to hear back at all.nnIf your looking to rent any Uhaul equipment I would recommend other places rather then this. There customer service Is really Bad when it come to fixing problems. Anyone can run a computer, put a jack on a car, hook up a trailer, clean a car and get customers checked out for rentals. I know I won’t be hearing back from them anytime soon and I would suggest any customer that wants piece of mind to go some where else besides here.
