I live directly across the street from the firehouse on Dearborn blvd. When we moved into our house, the Captain paid us a visit and told us that when they went out on a call that they would not turn on the sirens until they reached the end of the street. Now, however, the sirens start before they even enter the street (a very quiet, low-transited street). What has changed?
