Washington County Sherrif's Department uses Earls towing. When I needed a tow they called Earl. He came over promptly & put the car on the truck bed Tuesday, July 16th around 8pm. I asked him to take it to Iowa City, about 20 miles away. He took my payment information & I assumed took my car to IC. When I called my mechanic the next morning he told me they received the car & that I should talk to the company that towed it because the key was still in it, by the shifter, it was unlocked & the door was OPEN! I called Earl & he told me he had just dropped it off this morning, did not have an explanation why the key was still in the car & not the lock box & claimed he did not leave the door open. That was a lie because he was on video surveillance doing just that! Read the posts for this before you choose this company. I called the WC Sherrif to let them know about the quality of service I received. Hopefully they will not be as reticent to use them in the future.
