Pizza Palace

Pizza palace is consistently tasty, hot, and fresh. We haven't had anything that wasn't surprisingly good. Sometimes it takes some time to get your pizza but it's worth it. The pan crust is unmatched: crispy with a soft inside.

Usually we have been happy at Pizza Palace, but I can't say that tonight as we had several issues. First, no one but us had masks or were socially distancing, not even staff who leaned in while taking our order. Second, I was told one price for my food by the wait staff, but the price basically changed at the register with not even an apology. Third, my salad was small. There's no way around that fact. I thought I was ordering it as a meal, but I left feeling hungry. Fourth, the food was slow to come to our table, which I kind of understand as they were busy, but when my salad was brought to the table, we were told omy family's pizzas were coming right up. Not the case. It was several minutes before they arrived. Between the delay and the size of my salad, if I hadn't waited to eat, I probably would have been done while they still were waiting. Fifth, the staff never returned to our table after bringing the food. No refills were offered to my husband, but he did end up finishing some of the kids' pitcher since I was practically laughed at when I asked for a to go cup to take the rest home- don't bother asking, they have none. Sixth, the final straw...when I went to pay, they almost charged me for an extra pizza and would have if I didn't catch it. Again, no apology or anything for almost overcharging me, which would have been 100% their error. Usually, we love Pizza Palace. I hope when we return, IF we return, it will not be like it was tonight!

Usually happy with food and service but not tonight called in an order and was told 35 min, I live out of town so I waited to leave and arrived over 40 mins after I’d called . We pay and are them informed it’ll be another 30 mins and I can come back... I live out of town so had to wait. Then watched as numerous others are paying then being informed of the extra wait with many apologies from the waitress but the one that owns it is in the back not offering apologies not offering a dime off just pay and wait. Not happy and having to eat later than expected. Gotta practice better business ethics. Gentleman that left behind me was there before me. Mistakes happen, I’m okay with that but it was treated like a big joke... I’m not laughing. And won’t be returning any time soon

This restaurant has extremely friendly staff. The food is phenomenal. I really enjoy the BLT pizza my favorite is their taco pizza. It is always fresh and reasonably priced. I always eat way to much. When you come to Traer you should stop in and try one of their delicious menu items.

Probably the best pizza I've ever had. Tried the bacon cheeseburger pizza tonight and it definitely does not disappoint. Its light, flaky and toasted to perfection. The pickles and cheese combo makes the flavour unique. Can't wait to try the blt pizza next time
