Was my first time stoping. I stopped for ice cream and got a shake, I was a little surprised about the large shake it more like extra large compared to most places. They was a little busy at the time I stopped I don't know if not got enough help for the car hops right now or not. I didn't have to wait long to place order but had a little long of a wait but wasn't in a Rush and the one that waited on my even hey apologized about the wait and I told her not a Big deal. I will stop again for ice cream or maybe even food some time

I have only been to the Dubuque location twice and was going to hold off on doing a review until we went a few more times but the friendly enthusiastic service my daughter and I received yesterday when we went for a late lunch around 2pm prompted me to give praise. The first time I went we did not eat... We pulled into a stall pressed the button to order waited about 30 minutes ( it was SUPER busy ) then a young guy came out to ask us if we had been taken care of mentioning some sort of system glitch ..Then we were put back in queue. It was confusing and we left after sitting there for over 40 minutes while not being able to order. Yesterday my daughter and I went because she has never been to a Sonic & has been wanting to try it out. We were greeted by Katie who was extremely enthusiastic and genuinely friendly. We were able to order promptly even though they were really busy. When our food was delivered to the car we were thanked for stopping and asked if there was anything else we would like in a welcoming tone. Very friendly and professional service. It was a totally redeeming experience! Our food was great too.

Been here a few times, every time I go I hope for better service. It gets worse and worse each time. Food takes 20-30 minutes and they have at minimum 10 people working. Some workers are very nice but there are a select few that don’t care at all. I sure hope they can figure this out.

Had great shakes and will definitely be back to try out other options on the menu!! Love the car hop as then u don't leave the car and it's brought rt to you!! Great waitress very pleasant!

The food tastes amazing. The reason for only four stars is because they put lettuce on my burger even though there was a sticker that said no lettuce on the wrapper. It's still overall a good place to eat.
