My wife and I attend River City Church and are so thankful to be a part of this church community. The preaching on Sunday mornings is a constant reminder of the good news of the Gospel and Jesus' love for us.nnWe are also a part of a Small Group that meets weekly. The Small Group is a great setting to not only grow in our relationship with Jesus, but to also grow in our relationships with the church community.nnI would definitely encourage anyone new to the area or just visiting the area to check it out.

This church is focused on Jesus and encourages its members to be growing in the gospel in every aspect of their daily life.nnOn Sunday mornings the musical worship is mostly made up of contemporary songs in an acoustic arrangement. There is also a nursery for children up to four years old and children's church for kids that are four through first grade. The volunteers are all very friendly and are great with kids! During the week their small groups are a great way to feel connected to the community and form relationships with other members of the church.nnThey are very welcoming to new people and are focused on helping people know and love Jesus!

When moving to Dubuque recently, it was important to me to find a church for me and my new husband to attend. From our first visit, so many people introduced themselves and invited us to their small group. In the past few months of attending on Sundays and our small group during the week, we have grown in our knowledge of the gospel but have also found true community and friendship at River City.

Being a part of the River City Church community has been great. The preaching on Sunday morning has continually been a reminder of the Gospel and how it is such good news. My wife and I also really enjoy being a part of our small group. It's a great place to learn about Jesus in a smaller community that you can really get to know.
