Ive been with GCT since 2015, it has been a pleasure being a operator for this company.The owners,staff,and all vehicles are the top of the line, well maintained, and give you all the comforts especially on long trips. I am biased but GCT is know for its reputation and quality of service in the southeast and beyond. There is no better tour operator GCT in Mobile and surrounding communities.
My daughter had a school field trip booked to go to Orlando, but due to the COVID-19 the trip was canceled. Granted that their policy states that the payment is non-refundable, I feel that they should have still reimbursed the students because no one personally canceled their trip. Gulf Coast Tours should have reimbursed the students in full.
The lady at Gulf Coast Tours told us to meet in Daphne and the bus took off from Spanish Fort for the ALA v LSU game. Now my husband has to drive to Tuscaloosa. Why wouldn't the driver have names and phone numbers of passengers so the they could at least give a courtesy call or text to missing individuals on the manifest? Extremely poor service. Will definitely be diaputing this charge on my credit card.
This tour is a must! Arthur is so knowledgeable and Oliver his little Scottish Terrier who rides along on every tour is adorable. Well worth the $15. I saw several places I am going back to explore. We went off season, so we could not get off and back on. I moved across the bay to Daphne a while ago and learned so much!
We hired a trolley for my daughter’s wedding. Since the minimum time you can rent is 4 hours ($795) I was very clear that in addition to transporting wedding party from hotel to church and back to reception, I also wanted the trolley to take out of town guests and family from carnival museum to church and return . The driver took the wedding party to the church and then stayed at the church. By the time someone told me he was still there, the guests had paid for Uber to transport them to church. They were unwilling to work with me about only performing half of the contract and offered me $100 refund . The Uber rides were more than that not to mention upsetting the bride and several elderly family members. Very disappointed.
