I’m so glad the welfare of our children (who parents want to strive) in life, will only be seen under private insurance now. I called to schedule a new patient appointment, and I was asked if my daughter had Medicaid or another insurance.. I asked if it mattered and the rude secretary said YES! I said she had both Anthem and Medicaid. She stated as long as Medicaid was involved at all, she would not be seen! Makes my heart melt knowing this is what pediatricians are caring more about these days. Note: they do take Medicaid, in fact.. Medicaid is the one who gave me their number stating they would accept her. Thanks y’all! What a great bunch of money hungry, I insurance scamming winners this office is.

Just had to share this story.nDr Freeman is my daughters doctor.nThey knew my daughter was terrified of getting a strep test.nDr Freeman gave us the dreaded news that she would need one.nShe started to cry. He got a box of tissues and laid them beside her, and tried to assure her everything would be ok.nThe nurse came in and very nicely tried to reason with her, there was no reasoning though, so we had to hold her down and the nurse explained she did not want to do that to her but it was for her own good.nAfterwards she was mad a me and would not let me touch her.nDr Freeman came back in the room and went straight to Kelsey, and grabbed her and hug her.nI saw the hurt and anger disappear from her face as she calmed down and hugged him back.nI almost cried at the kindness and compassion this busy doctor with other patients took the time to take care of her emotionally also.
