Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church

My husband and I have been attending pleasant hill for 6 years and have been members a little over 3 years. People there have became our family. Sundays and Wednesday and the small groups I have attended had been a blessing and continues to do so. Felt welcome and loved since day one. God bless

This is not a true church that follows the Good Book. I attempted to place a yard sign on the Florence Utility pole with transformers attached. I was immediately confronted by the man that mows the lawn in a not so nice way. He told me i have to have permission to be on church property and that either himself or the church trustees will remove my sign and have me charged with trespassing. He claimed the church owned every one of those poles. After informing him those poles are owned by Florence Utilities and they have to allow utility companies right of way to access and manage their lines feeding the community and the church only owns poles with their lights or a bump pole that only provides service to their buildings, he got more agitated and confrontational. In my views this is not a good facility that claims to be a church. The Good Book does not teach you to turn others away or make others ask permission to come on the property. The Good Book says to welcome with open arms and if someone is on the wrong path to lead them to the correct path. The Lord also would not condone the behavior i was greeted with. It is also hypocritical, which the Lord hates, to prevent a man from making a living and then later the church will be running fireworks stands on other people's property, granted with permission of course, and advertising signs promoting their fireworks stand on others property to make revenue. That is hypocritical and also not God like to be running a church as a business. Remember, money is the root of all evil is what is taught. There is no way i am going to attend a church that needs me to ask permission, asks me to feed the money bucket while at the same time preventing me from making a living that allows me to contribute to that church. I should have been welcomed on the property, asked politely if i minded placing the sign elsewhere, and offered the opportunity to come attend services there and become a member. That was not the case at all. Definitely did not come off as a true religious following place of worship. Shameful!

This is by far the most friendly church I have every been too!! So happy and Praise God I found you! I am telling all my friends and co workers about you! Brother Kenny is an awesome speaker and anointed man of God. So so glad to be here! If your looking for a friendly awesome church home come visit this church! You will be so very blessed as I have been.

Great group of christians. Warm and welcoming. Wonderful atmosphere.

Great church family for our family. Our teenagers have great groups . It’s a wonderful place to worship !
