Only 3 stars because it was closed. It should have been open when we arrived, Thursday at 1015 am, and we waited for 30 minutes. It looked cool from the outside. Next time we are in the area we will try again.
The tour guide was personable and taught me a lot about W.C Handy's history. I highly recommend you give this place a visit
If you're coming to Muscle Shoals to tour FAME studios, you must also come here. Any music geeks should educate themselves with the work of W.C. Handy, critical to brining African American music to the masses.
Enjoyed visiting this historic place, seeing the sites and learning what they had to offer.
It's amazing to me with had so much musical talent come out the Florence Muscle Shoals area,,,, endless ,,,W.C. Handy at the top of the list
