Adorable library with a fantastic collection and a knowledge staff
I needed to try and find a book (Me- Elton John) and I had not been to this library in a while. Don & I really enjoy Sheffield's Library. I have to have large print, even with glasses. This Library has a LARGE selection of them, I can always find really good books. We also enjoy seeing the employees there. They are always so friendly and helpful. Don and I laughed when we saw the Christmas Tree, with the elves legs sticking out the sides! I have to mention the Children's section. One of the best I've seen! Also, I have to tell you about going downstairs! There you will find so many books that are for sale(used). You can get a really big bag full for only $5.00. So, if you go, please allow time to check the basement!!

The staff is friendly and helpful. They redecorated inside and out. The brickwork 'books' on the outside with donors' names is creative and attractive. I enjoy going there - especially during Handy festival events.
This library has just been recently remodeled and it looks fantastic. The city of sheffield has been in need of an upgraded library for many years and the remodel absolutely met that need. I would recommend going here and checking out a newly remodeled public library.
