Love this Doctor!

Dr. Manord saved my life 3 1/2 years ago. I can’t say one negative thing about this doctor or his staff. I have Ulcerative Colitis so I went in to the Walker County Baptist outpatient center to have a routine colonoscopy and my colon was perforated, which caused my lung to collapse, and they sent me home even though I told them I was in severe pain and couldn’t breathe. I live 35-45 miles from Walker County, so by the time I got home the ambulance had to come take me to Northwest Medical Center in Winfield where Dr Manord was a surgeon at the time. He came from home on a Friday night to perform emergency surgery on my colon which left me in ICU for 2 days, a 7 day hospital stay, and 14 inches of my colon removed. I was terrified of doctors and hospitals after my experience but Dr Manord changed all of that. I even let him perform a colonoscopy after I healed from my surgery to make sure everything looked okay, and that says alot bc I swore after what happened to me I would never have another colonoscopy again no matter the reason. I give this doctor and his staff 5 stars all the way around the board. Mrs. White at the front desk was the sweetest woman in the world next to my mom ☺ufe0f and the entire staff was extremely helpful and polite. I had my surgery in March 2015, and I’ve been completely symptom free from ulcerative colitis since August 2015..I’ve even been off my UC meds for a year, after battling with the disease since 2004! God bless Dr Manord and his staff! He saved my life that night and I was able to fully recover, even better than before the surgery. Russellville Hospital is blessed to have him on their staff!
