The turnaround at the trail head doesn't allow parking. If it's crowded, you might have a walk up the road. But you're probably there to hike, so you'll be fine.

This is a popular parking area. There are a decent number of spots but they do fill up.

BE SURE TO MAKE SURE THE GATES ARE OPEN, or you will have hike up 4 miles or so on top of your intended hike to reach this location if coming from the south end.nnAlso remember that it gets VERY windy on top of the ridgeline.

Semi primitive camping (outhouse available). Views are extraordinary. Hiking is excellent but strenuous. Best accessed by 4-wheeled vehicle.
