The staff is knowledgeable, the prices are fair, and the facilities are well kept. This is an awesome place to visit whether you have kids or not. It's so cool seeing all of the rock formations and getting to explore underground. If it's summer and you get cold easily, bring a light jacket because the caverns stay in the 50s year round. You won't regret your visit!

Karst geography across Appalachia means we're fortunate to have several area caverns near the VA / WV border. This cavern is a bit more compact than some of the others (for good or ill), but is also unique in its ability to enter and exit through hillsides rather than a lodge built over the entry stairs. The low price also makes it a very attractive option at around half that of the other caverns, as well as the close proximity to Seneca Rocks & many other natural sites. Do beware the maps directions though, as while it is the most direct path it may route you through an active Lime plant. Plan accordingly. ud83dude0b

Awesome place and people! Great destinations nearby as well. Lots to do in this area

Our guide was knowledgeable and interested in answering all questions. Some walkways are a bit tight, so don't be surprised, and watch your head! (Helmets are provided and cleaned after each use.) This was a fum and informative tour. Plan for am hour or so.

We had a great time going on the 'short tour' of the caverns. Very interesting and a well-informed young lady as our guide. The only suggestion I could make is that they extend the handrail beyond the last step. We had older people who needed help on that last uneven step onto the cavern floor.
