Went ballooning this morning and it was AMAZING! The crew was great, very knowledgeable and fun. Learned a lot from them about the balloon types, festivals, and wind speeds. Don gave us a great experience. The views were beautiful on our clear, crisp day. Could see for miles! Planning on going again with my family around Fall. Great experience!!
Had an amazing time and a very unique experience! Don had no problems answering my questions via calls or email. The day before my scheduled flight, he'd forgotten to save the update so I called every hour to see if we were flying on my date. He returned my call to fess up to his oversight and to let me know that we would be flying on my scheduled date (it was the 2nd time they'd flown this year). He showed up at the specified time and took us around to find the perfect launch site. The weather was cold, but otherwise great for a flight which is why we had a long (90+ minutes) flight time. Don is a master at piloting a hot air balloon and set it down exactly where he intended to, which is incredible considering that he couldn't steer the balloon but merely go where the wind blew. The views of the Shenandoah Valley are amazing and were especially beautiful in the sunrise.nBottom line: if you're thinking about taking a hot air balloon ride, then do it! There's nobody better than Don!
Had to give a 1 star, otherwise would've not have given them any!nnExtremely disappointed in both their customer service and lack of communication. Did not validate my Groupon nor did they TRY to contact us to get something worked out. I WILL be sharing my NEGATIVE experience with EVERYONE we know to never use this company.nnMy husband and I were looking for a special experience, thanks for ruining it.
We had an incredible morning ride! Well worth every cent! Don was an excellent pilot and gave us a great memory to cherish forever
Scheduled my balloon ride at least 3 months ago, the day I chose had perfect weather but my ride was cancelled because they had to “downsize the balloon”.
