Attended my first football game as a Uncle. My niece is a freshman and on the track and field team at Marshall. It was great to experience the history of this stadium and campus. Ushers and concession workers were helpful and friendly. Downtown has some great places to eat.
I consider The Joan a great atmosphere for college football. Also i think it the nicest campus stadium outside the Power 5. Plus it helps that The Herd is nearly perfect there. Fron Fairfield to the Joan! GREAT!
Stadium is super clean. Been there many times but not recently for a Herd game. It's a great place to spend time with the family. If there was a negative it would be traffic. If you plan on going, It would be wise to figure out your parking spot beforehand, I've always parked a few blocks away, if there is a game going on Huntington slows to crawl.
