This is a nice quiet place to collect your thoughts and enjoy the scenery since covid. However, if it was back to normal, there is a lot of traffic. There's huge benches making social distancing easy to comply with. The city does a pretty good job of keeping up with the trash and trying to keep the homeless from posting up here. There is a few places to eat nearby and a couple hotels. Not a bad spot if you'd like to just sit down and relax.
Had a wonderful day at Davis park today the birds were singing the wind blew softly and the sun was warm
Park has had a few upgrades over the recent years and is really nice. If the city could do something to address the homeless in the area I'd spend more time here, as it is the panhandlers can be aggressive. This is why I carry a sailors emergency boat whistle and make, being told to for over $5 buck or else is kinda a turn off.
Great place to hang out for those warm weather concerts.
