Love this place. Great friendly atmosphere, and karaoke! What more could you need. Drinks are reasonable priced for being just outside downtown Austin which is to say maybe more than that small-town bar but definitely not downtown pricing. Only downside is parking can be rough, but there is a small parking lot just outside the bar so your results may vary. Swing by and have a couple cold beers with some great (sometimes not so much, it happens) karaoke.

Easily the best bar in Austin. Come as you are. Old or Young, Austin local or out of towner, alternative or preppy, everyone is guaranteed to have a good time and make a few new friends along the way. I love egos and you will too.

Came to Austin,Tx from Florida to visit. LOVED this little dive bar! Googles karaoke bars and this one was the closest; so happy we came in! Staff is amazing, drinks are delicious and CHEAP, other patrons super friendly! Came in Friday and Saturday and will return when I come back to Texas!

This place makes you feel like you are a rock star when you step off the stage. Even the people that are not so great feel good in this place. Was the best Karaoke bat since we went to Las Vegas and went to Ellis Island.

Not the Egos I remembernnThe Covid pandemic really seems to have taken all the joy out of this place. The last time I was there, the staff enforced a lot of rules that didn’t make sense. My group was told to cluster in an eight person table on one hand, and then later told to seprate to our own tables when a ninth person joined our group. We also felt that the mask rules were enforced in a really unreasonable way. Bear in mind this happened after Texas ended their mask mandate, so these are rules egos is choosing to enforce.nnOn top of that, the bartenders were incredibly rude to my group even though we were following all the restrictions.nnOn the karaoke side, they made it a lot harder to request songs. Gone are the days of requesting songs directly to the MC. Now, the only way to request is to create an account on an app and send in your request. It really adds a lot of hassle to the process.nnIt’s sad to see a place that used to have such great energy become like this. I won’t be coming back until the service improves.
