This has always been our “go to” Sunday brunch spot for MANY years. Today, we could not get a reservation so we arrived at 12:30pm, knowing we would have a wait. Fortunately the five of us were able to score a high top in the lounge where we had the option to eat.nnAfter our first successful round of drinks, we ordered brunch. Our lunch arrived in a reasonable amount of time (due to the restaurant’s full house) with the exception of one friend who ordered the salmon with a side salad. His salad arrived 5 minutes after the rest of our meals. When he inquired about his salmon, the server informed him it takes a long time to prepare.nnAs the rest of the table finished our brunch, my friend approached a manager and inquired about his meal. The manager actually questioned that the order had been placed at the same time. Once the entire table assured him that everyone ordered at the same time, the manager left for the kitchen. Within one or so minutes, he returned with a piece of salmon on a plate. Not only had the kitchen flash fried the salmon to expedite it, it was still raw inside.nnAfter spending most of 2020 dreaming of going to brunch, we don’t take these times for granted. Too bad Taverna didn’t share the same respect for our time and money today!

This place is AMAZING! This was our first time to this location as we were blown away! Carlos and his team exceeding our expectation in every way. From the moment we were greeted by Allegra at the front door, to Ian our server, to the food that came out perfect spaced out right on time the entire evening was remarkable. What truly impressed me the most was the table visits by the manager Carlos. He was pleasant and sincere when he checked on our table. This is so rare anymore. Keep up the exceptional work, we will be back !!

This restaurant is so good you will eat like royalty. Their brunch is also to die for. I love Garrett and Ashley especially as they made this time super enjoyable. 10/10 would come here again. Love this place and I love Ashley

It was my boyfriend and my first time visiting Austin and from the moment we walked in the female manager was amazing and made us feel so welcomed. The food was incredible and she and our server Tanner were both very attentive. Would highly recommend. Blood orange margarita was amazing, as was the truffle chicken pasta.

Amazing restaurant! If I could give more stars, I would! The food was great and the service was even greater! They had really cool drinks and everyone who ordered food/drinks in our group absolutely loved what they got! The environment and the ambiance was great as well!
