We stayed here on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved every minute of it. We rented the Phillips Sublett Family Cabin and it was just us but we could’ve easily brought my son (next time) to stay in the loft upstairs. The house was nice and everything but the amenities is where it’s at. The hot tub was amazing. We did the water activities and I had never done some of that stuff (paddle boarding, kayak). Just a lot of fun and incredibly relaxing. We are already trying to find another weekend to go back!
This place is AMAZING!! This secluded campground is nestled back in a woods on a private, stocked 9 acre lake, 140 acre property. Only 5 RV spots on lots of space. They provide paddle boats, kayaks, canoes & life jackets. Beautiful, scenic and quiet. Beach & boat ramp area also. Plenty of chairs and benches on the path around the small lake. Private woods with hiking/golf cart trails on the rest of the acreage. Adorable Longhorns next door. Plenty to explore!! Huge concrete pads right at the lake for RVs - lots of room for privacy. Easy peasy road in/out even for our giant 62’ big rig. Best RV layout we’ve seen yet! They also have beautiful cabins for rent also - as well as golf carts if needed. Owners are super helpful and take great care of the property. An unforgettable place to stay!
Absolutely Awesome: stayed 03/19/21-03/22/21nnThis is the first time my wife and I have ever been camping. My brother and sister-in-law wanted us to go and spend the weekend with them at resort, man are we happy that we did.nnLet me tell you about this place. First off the owner Bill is so friendly and is there when you need him. He is always riding around making sure the grounds are clean and everyone is having a great time. The grounds are clean, no trash laying around. The lake is nice a clean and there are a lot of fish, and when it is warm you will be able to use the big dive pillow that is in the middle of the lake. You won’t have to worry about a bunch of people and a bunch of noice as there are only a few RV pads and 4 cabins.nnMy wife and I stayed in the Olive Hill Cabin, absolutely beautiful. Full Refrigerator, Microwave, 2 Flat Screen TVs, Dish Network, Washer Dryer, Full Shower. You name it the Cabin has it. VERY CLEAN!!! Can not stand up in the loft, but not a big deal you only sleep there.nnIf you want to see nature rent the golf cart. So many trails you can ride on. We had a lot of fun riding around.nnWe absolutely will be back. I want to go back when it is warm so I can use the dive pillow that is in the middle of the lake.nnIf you want a nice quiet, relaxing weekend stay here!!!
Y'all. We heard about this place thanks to a random conversation with a relative of an ex relative. Convoluted, I know, but now that I've been here, that was clearly a conversation destined for greatness. This place being greatness. Tucked away in the piney woods of my youth, this quiet little spot has it all. Have an RV? level well spaced spots with shade and full hookups await you. Don't have an RV? No problem. They have some pretty sweet looking cabins to fit your needs. Paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks are available for use and included in your stay. Catch and release fishing (caught two before breakfast) is a few steps away from your site. They also provide an on call concierge service for this things you may have forgotten or end up needing while here. From ice to sewer hoses and firewood to soap, they have though of almost everything. Big enough to meet new folks and friends, small enough to actually be able to relax. We will definitely be back.
This place is so peaceful and safe. Love all the extra attractions for the family threw out the park. We will definitely be going back. Very friendly helpful staff they made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
