Socially distanced and there was a short line to get in but the experience was wonderful. The gentleman in the cafe was amazing. Ask him about his tattoo on his arm great story
LOVE THIS BOOK STORE! I went there last week to find my next read and loved the selection. If you like to visit physical book stores, be sure to visit this one while in Austin.
Assuming you even get past the Soviet apparatchik working the entrance, this is your store if you're looking for bumper stickers and fridge magnets sporting the heroes of the rose-colored revolution that is always just around the corner. If you're looking for, you know, actual assistance trying to find something useful, look literally anywhere else.
Really enjoyed this bookstore! They have a great selection and staff picks. They also have a great system right now for keeping customers safe during covid.
My wife made me go, thought it'd be awesome. But the 30 minute limit in the store was not cool. I fully understand covid precautions but that's wonky.
