Blue Mound City Hall

Got a speeding ticket in Blue Mound, which was my fault. Was told I can pay online or at City Hall; tried for tow weeks to defer my ticket online and got an error daily, but no error code so I couldn't report it. I finally gave up and went to City Hall to defer the ticket and pay my fine; it clearly said on the window (that you can barely see through, which is awkward) that you can pay online (which you can't) or by cash, check, credit card (with a surcharge, of course) or money order. After the clerk asked me 10 questions to seemingly not have to pull up my information, she informed me that the credit card machine is down once she found out I was using a card and that I could come back Monday. Unacceptable; so now half of the payment methods you accept don't work. Went to get cash and came back about half an hour later. The new clerk already knew about me for some reason and told me their machine is still down...I told her I figured, I had cash. She pulled my information again, then couldn't locate the correct forms and had to get the first clerk. Neither of them were the least bit friendly or seemed to have a full idea of what they were doing. The whole process is extremely dated and almost seems like a ploy to keep you from being responsible and paying on time which is not right. I understand they are a small city but their practices are not only outdated but seemingly purposely inconvenient.

this place is a JOKE!! worse customer service ever. didn't want to help or couldn't help not sure which one but never got anything resolved.
