Was driving late night looked up nearest hotel in area to get some rest and drive out to it sign on door says open but lights are on and doors are locked. Call the number lady answers and tells me she doesn’t rent rooms after 10pm. Also tells me she doesn’t have vacancy but there are a lot of rooms and hardly any vehicles. Have stayed here once before and checked in about midnight last time I was traveling. Guess I will have to drive on somewhere that’s not to lazy to check me in and take my money.
Its the perfect little hide away for the area. Very friendly staff and very helpful. When I went the pool was out of order, I hope when we stay again soon; that it is fixed. I will for sure stay again, pool or no pool.
Remote, rustic, private, deep in the forest... Totally beautiful!!! Manager was Sweet, welcoming and just a lovely person! Would love to stay there for about a month but I was moving from Tucson, Arizona to Jacksonville Florida and went out of my way to avoid Covid. So glad I did!!?
Best location near there to stay. They have a 9 hole frisbee golf course. Call to see if it has been cleared before coming for that activity.
Nice. Lady at desk is so nice and accommodating. Pets welcome. Enjoyed my stay.
