This KOA is a nice get away spot close to Lake Sam Rayburn. The camp site is very clean. The RV sites has nice concrete patio with a nice fire pit and a separate ground grill. Except for our site, the RV sites are level. We were in Site RV39 (Pull-Through) and RV39 is the only RV site that is slopes downward as you pull in. So you will need leveling blocks on the front end levelers. This issue does not deter from the birds, wild life, and the atmosphere around the camp. The pool is very nice and clean. The KOA personnel are very friendly. There are plenty of fishing spots and hiking trails around the campgrounds.

Beautiful RV park! They have cabins, RV spots, and camp grounds. All nicely shaded . Also, they have 2 pools, horse stable, golf carts, hiking trails, dog trails, 2 ponds for fishing, fitness center, laundry room, and bathrooms with showers by pools. Just one mile from the lake. Loved it! We will absolutely be going back.

Should be cleaner for $135 per night:nnI've stayed here before in the hot summer time and it was reasonanble, but in a different cabin. This time, summer 2020, the front-door didn't seal at the floor, there was about an inch opening, letting the AC out and the bugs in, which I initially didn't care about. But, the vent in the bathroom didn't work, the laundry facilities were not operating, the couch smelled funny, the bed smelled like mildew, (probably because the door was letting in humidity). So it turned into a long list.nnI notified the front desk about 1 issue, and she seemed defensive, so I had enough end left. Of course, no refunds, so they kept the my full payment. Don't stay here.
