I booked online and I selected the mystery vehicle because it had a great price and when I got there he told me he had two trucks and I chose the jeep gladiator. The pick up and drop off was easy… And the car selection was great.

Easy return. Ok car. Hoped for something that felt less used, but can't complain. The pick line is way too long. It didn't seem like the attendant cared that there were 20 people staring her down or maybe the process doesn't allow for them to go any faster. There was only attendant one on duty. Hoped that maybe some technology can speed things along? Turns out the Budget car rental is using Avis cars or at least parking lot at the Houston airport. Avis IS Budget- so look out for that. The exit was also packed with cars waiting to get out. Maybe it was a technical issue with the scanner? No problems when it was our turn. I think it took us 2 hours just to get our rental. We weren't in a rush, but not a way we wanted to spend our time. Maybe that's just Houston. The return however was very quick. Parked and was ushered out by an alert attendant. No problems.

[ZERO STARTS!!!]. DO NOT USE!nAVOID BUDGET!!! Thieves!!!!nThey will Rob you and charge you with False claims!nRented a vehicle from them in May, they wanted more for the insurance per day than what they vehicle was, turned it down.nSo they decide to hit us with False damages and a repair bill months later!nVehicle was turned in to the location in Perfect conditions, now they are saying it was vandalized and had stolen parts! Really???? And they of course automatically charge my credit card for these damages! (Not making this up, I would have reported it to my insurance if we really did mess up the car and pay the small deductible not this made up amount they are charging) but I know for a fact our vehicle was in PERFECT condition when turned in.nThis is not the first time they do it to some one but I will take this up higher and if they don’t make it right I’ll make sure they shut them down!

I will only rent vehicles from budget the service was great even if the service wasn’t great the price makes up for it Renting from a company other than budget is not an option I had reserved a car at Hertz I had know idea the cost they wanted me to pay was only a few dollars less than my mortgage payment I thought surly they made a mistake and when I ask if they did the lady very rudely said no it is correct you won’t find a car at this rate had she not been so rude I just might of paid the fee but I just cannot pay someone that kind of money to be treated very poorly I was very upset until I walked over to budget I was very happy that she was so rude the fees I paid at budget was less than half of what hertz wanted I was so happy I walked back over and thanked her for being so rude that was the best $480 that I didn’t haven’t to pay hertz the line to rent a car at hertz was long when walked back over to thank them and when I left there was no line at hertz it had moved over to budget thanks for the. excellent service and more than fair fees you gained a costumer for life

I booked a reservation for 12pm not knowing the location had temporary hours and their closure time was at 12pm too. I was not notified about this and by the time I was able to get another car over the phone I had to drive to a different location, which was significantly further and pay a higher price. I ended up getting a full size car instead of a SUV. Also, online stated that there would be a $200 holding fee, that was fine, but I had already paid $125 in full. When I got to the location, they asked for an additional $100, which meant they had kept $225 from me, not the $200. Lastly, when I returned the car, I returned it on full, per the sign on the car. I was later charged for 2 gallons. I was told that it was to be returned on the digital gallons of 17.3 not the signal of full the car displays. I was told I had returned the car at 15.4 gallons. Thankfully I called and was able to get the one gallon ($9.99) returned but I'm currently still waiting. This car rental was a fiasco and I will not rent with Budget/Avis again.
