My daughter had a blast in her first class. She can't wait to go back.
My child had fun, it was just not what we expected and didn’t seem worth the high cost. I was under the impression they would be building sets and learning about plays and theatre. It was much more simple than that and although he had fun, he does not want to go again next year. Might be more fun for the younger kids.
My children had a good experience at their drama summer camp. It was enjoyable & age appropriate. No qualms about the theater experience whatsoever. I feel like they need some work on the administrative aspects, though, as I had to call twice to get any details and did not actually receive them until the night before the camp began. Additionally, one child came home with a fairly large abrasion on his face that I think warranted an explanation from an adult.
Wonderful program for kids — all the instructors have been great, keeping the kids engaged, having fun, and learning stage presence and acting skills. The end-of-year performance is always a highlight, too. My kid enthusiastically asks to re-enroll in this program every year. The summer and holiday camps are excellent, as well.
My youngest daughter was very shy and didn’t have a voice when she started Drama Kids. At the end of the school year, not only did she build confidence and approve her speech, my baby had the main role in the play!!! I thank her wonderful teacher Ms. Crystal and the rest of the crew for working with my daughter.
