Artek was highly recommended by a friend. Needed some roof work done & other work to follow. Jeff came out, very friendly, looked at the roof. Said it would be a quick, easy & inexpensive repair. He would work up an estimate & send it the next day. Nothing received. I called twice, after a week & after two weeks. Spoke to people & left messages. No call backs from Artek. I found another company to do all the work that was needed. I'm guessing my original job was too small & too low priced to be worth Artek's interest. I give five stars for the initial response & ZERO stars for followup & work.

We highly recommend Mike Jennings and Artek! We have used Mike for several projects over the years, from painting the outside of the house to large projects on the inside. It is rare to find a contractor you would work with more than once, and we plan to use him again soon for two complete bath remodels.nMike runs a tight ship. His crews arrive when they say they will be here, clean up before they leave every day, and are very respectful of privacy, property and pets. Plus, they are excellent craftsmen. At the end of each project, Mike tends to be even pickier than we are and makes sure every detail is right.nHe is really good about finding ways to save money, and often suggests layout, color and design possibilities that we never imagined. I also credit him with saving our marriage more than once by suggesting solutions that made both me and Mr. B. happy.

Mike and his team did a great job on our master bathroom renovation. Mike had great ideas for the layout and functionality. He also paid attention to the details and made sure everything turned out beautiful. I highly recommend Artek Painting & Construction and I would definitely use them again.

Mike Jennings at Artek P & C renovated our master bathroom. It was an extensive job, requiring removal of an old garden tub, installation of an expanded, tiled shower area with large glass wall and spa-style rainfall shower, body sprays, and thermostatic controls, and complete renovation of the cabinets, flooring, lighting, etc. Mike and his crew did a fantastic job; contained the construction area with plastic sheeting to minimize dust, were careful to lock doors and maintain security while we were at work, kept us informed and updated on progress and timelines. We love our new master bath; the custom spa shower is the greatest!! Thanks Mike and the whole Artek crew for making this a wonderful experience.
