Well, my six year old decided he wanted to see what would happen if he called 911. After he did it he told me that his little sister did and that he hung up the phone . Minutes later two officers knocked on the door, when I told them it was my son they asked if they could see him to make sure he was okay. Of course I let them and it scared my son ud83dude02 but I was thinking of how amazing the department was for wanting to check. Now I know that if my son was ever in danger that they would make sure he was safe. It was not an ideal situation but it definitely eases my mind knowing we have such wonderful officers in our community. If the two officers do read this I want to say thank you, sorry for you having to come out here but I definitely feel a whole lot more safe knowing y’all did! Wonderful police men!

Police stations personal in LaMarque are helpful. They got a dog that wouldn't leave me and my dog alone in front of police station and got dog pound to deal with it and the person with the dog didn't help control the dog.

The La Marque Police Department is very professional, friendly, and great at their job. They do a great job of keeping the peace in the city and go after those who break the Law.

I called at around 2 am due to my neighbors being loud and obnoxious in their front yard. Made a noise complaint and was told that someone would be sent by to check it out. The cop drove by with his/her spotlight on, my neighbors quieted down and stared at the cop. The cop did not get out and address the situation, did not tell them there was a noise warning and to please keep it down, nothing. My roommate then placed another call to complain at about 3 am because they were STILL being loud and obnoxious. Was told that because they were not playing loud music it wasn’t a problem. We both had to work early the next morning and could not go to sleep due to the noise and LMPD did nothing to help. Very disappointed.
