Worst security guard EVER!!! Rude!!nWe were out of town visitors trying to inquire information about the the historical landmark. Despite the gates being open we were told they have been closed for a year and rushed us off the property.nnThe dogs were kind and lovely. ud83dude0annI hope other visitors have a better experience than we did. ud83eudd1eud83cudffc
This is a neat place for a glimpse at the past in Texas. We went for the Christmas event though there wasn't much Christmas about it. It was interesting to see the old building including a house, stable, and school. They were working on the bigger house so couldn't see that. If you like the little historic towns and seeing the life of the late 1800s through mid 1900s then this is a nice stop.
Cool place. Shakespeare experience is wonderful.
We had a very pleasant and informative tour of the main building. Definitely worth seeing for those interested in history!
