My kid just started here and so far so good. Was told it’s not as bad as some reviews online. So far so good
They just opened their new auditorium and dang it's nice!! As far as the school itself, I don't too much about the quality of education or anything like that but it seems like a good school
There's sooo much drama and bullying which the administrators never do anything about. The teachers are horrible teachers and I barely learn. The school's really boring and we barely do things there.. I can't wait to move and hopefully I don't be TOO far behind at my next school ud83dude12 I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone
Something all parents should understand: if you put a slacker into school, you'll get a slacker out. I was apart of the first graduating class back in 2006. I originally attended a 5A school in Austin, tx for 3 years. For those who don't know 5A schools have a lot of kids. When I moved North and attended Ranchview for my senior year it was quite the culture shock. Smaller school (significantly smaller), changes in demographics of the overall student body, as well as the overall culture differences of DFW. The staff was helpful and kind, the students not so much. But instead of complaining about them I focused on my school work and graduated. I'm sure a lot has changed in the last 10 years, but the complaints about the student body doesn't accurately rate the school. When I attended there were kids who pretended to be 'hood' or thuggish, although I'm not sure why when we had the same college scouts visit our school as any other, the same educational opportunities, their poor presentation hurt only themselves. I was in track and know the athletic program had plenty of funding. If anything the school would have been nicer if it had stricter guidelines for students to follow. To put it simply if I could go back in time I wouldn't choose a different school, I would have just worked harder whilst attending Ranchview. Currently I'm a network technician with a very comfortable lifestyle at a great company, I'm constantly pursuing continued education. For the parents out there this is a great school, I can safely say most every Texas school is a great school (standardised testing aside). Remember: If you put a slacker in, you'll get a slacker out.
This school is stupid !!! ud83dude12 If someone gets into a fight for defending themselves and they have to get suspended and go to aep when the person who started it is still walking around school ud83dude44. The admin are very judgmental and don’t look into problems all the way they just discipline the kids to what they “ think “ is appropriate without fully investigating the problem . DO NOT let them dumb people treat your child like that ‼ufe0fud83dudcaf Go to the board and above them because your kids shouldn’t be punished for defending themselves against someone trying to put them in harms way !! No matter hw they defended them selves “ROUGH OR GENTLE” it doesn’t matter someone is trying to hurt you do what you got to do to defend yourself ud83dudcaf Who asks a child “why do you fight so hard” ???? Who asks that like what you supposed to do fight soft that’s stupid !!! My point is this is stupid , dumb and out of proportion ud83dude44 so forget RHS they suck in my opinion !!!!
