I was pulled over for an expired registration by an Addison officer recently. I explained that I hadn't had the money to cover the fee due to a recent family cancer diagnosis, but that I had managed to get it inspected and was going to pay for the new registration as soon as I was able. He let me go with no trouble, and I was able to pay the fee today. I wouldn't have been able to do so if I'd been ticketed, and I am grateful that he was kind enough to understand that. I wish I remembered your name... but sincerely, thank you. It's hard these days. I appreciate the grace.
I mistakenly thought my car had been stolen (it hadn't). The officer who responded (officer Wiseman) was very nice/professional the whole way through. Just wanted to say thank you and give 5 stars.
Was arrested by them back in 2010. Honestly one of the nicest jails I’ve had the pleasure to spend the night in. Got an extra blanket, pop tarts in the morning, and the allowed me to watch the cowboys game with them while I waited for bail. Honestly it wasn’t that bad.
Officers Gallegos and Gandy are the best!! They helped me out with a wellness check today and I was awed and profoundly grateful for their kindness and professionalism. I would have hugged them but they were packing heat and I didn’t want to get shot ...
What kind of city is this? I came to the police station but could not see any officer. Had to pick up a phone to talk to a dispatcher and been waiting for almost an hour and still no sign of anyone to come take my statement. Addison is a rich city and should be able to do better!
