I had challenging personal matter I had to face and I am so grateful to have found Nick Overbeck at LifeWorks Recovery Grapevine. Nick was immediately supportive, reasonable in his assessment and committed to helping. Nick is totally realistic about our world, science and was not judgmental. I definitely felt much better after spending time with Nick and would recommend any of my friends and loved ones to see Nick with their personal challenges.

Let me start by saying I highly recommend Chris Lorenc as a therapist because of his wealth of knowledge, expertise, compassion and insight.nnThe staff is also amazing. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease sharing my personal information. When I first considered counseling, I was hesitant. I didn't want my session information shared with my husband. I was assured all information is kept confidential and is even required by law. This allowed me to feel like I had a trusted support system where I could be open. Lifeworks provided a safe space for me to talk about my most vulnerable issues.nnUltimately the counseling we received saved our marriage. It also allowed me space to realize I was part of the problem. It was not all my husband's fault as I wanted to believe. It's easy to place blame somewhere else instead of looking inside. It's much harder to take a good look at oneself and see how we project our own insecurities or frustrations onto someone else. Chris provided valuable insight and his guidance allowed me to see things in a much different light. This was life changing for me.nnI highly recommend Chris and Lifeworks Recovery to anyone needing a compassionate and caring counselor. Outstanding counseling services!

Beware. I saw Chris for 2 years and he became abusive over time. I also witnessed him perpetrate against other clients. Chris' perpetration ranged from failure to provide receipts to fill insurance claims to lying to me and other health care providers about my case.nIf you are seeking help, please look elsewhere. If you are one who have been damaged by Chris, know that you are not alone.
