What an experience! So amazing to have kindness and cheerfulness shine their light in the workplace and bless the public. Officer C. Carrol greeted me with such charm that I felt like I was checking into a 5-star resort. She is wonderful! And at the court clerks window, Erin showed nothing less than grace and patience to answer all my questions and did it with empathy and personal concern. I’m amazed. May you both continually be blessed as you’ve blessed others.
The reviews by others seem somewhat accurate. Attorneys don't like working with the city of Carrollton. Could it be because of the ego of the municipal Court workers? which makes it impossible for the community to be heard fairly? Could it be that certain individuals in positions to make decisions are biased and one sided and disregard the voice of the tax payers? Could it be that the carrollton municipal Court prides itself on being rigid and difficult and as a result, has a burden to maintain this reputation? I'm not quite sure. There are clean, safe, affordable and growing nearby cities you can live in or establish your business other than Carrollton. I hardly visit any business establishment in Carrollton, just not my taste. Carry on!
Obviously the reason I went wasn't fun, but the staff was actually really nice. They were practicing social distancing, wore masks, and kept everything clean. The lady that helped me, C. Was very nice, polite, and welcoming. She was understanding and patient. It was my first ticket so I was definitely scared and seeing the negative reviews spooked me more...
The only reason to have anything bad to say about this court would be you didn’t do what you were supposed to do. Every single person that I dealt with was friendly and professional. The judge is one of the most fair judges I have experienced. I couldn’t have asked for an easier process.
This needs to be brought to attention. For someone that had to make a ton of arrangements to make it to the court before 5pm(listed on the ticket) before they closed and to get there just to find out they close at 4:30pm(written on paper and stuck on front door). Online when you check they are open until 5:30pm today Thursday 06/04/2020. Its 4:47pm as i type this. This is absolutely disgusting. You want to know why I am so upset? Because I called them from 2pm every 15 minutes from different phones to confirm their timings and none of the calls got answered. Now I have to take more unpaid time off to do this. Smh. Our government is a joke.
