This review has nothing to do with the excellent staff and pharmacists at East Plano Costco unless they are in charge of stocking levels.nnIn the last few months the pharmacy has been getting worse and worse with their stocking levels. I get the same three (generic and common) drugs every month and have been for at least the last two years. You would think that their system would recognize their regular customers and ensure that stock levels are sufficient to cover the upcoming regular customers prescriptions. I understand that there can be temporary shortages however this is becoming a regular occurrence.nnCan someone in charge please fix this? I rely on my prescriptions and I now live 2 hours away from your store. As you never have the prescriptions ready before 2:00 I now need to waste 2 days just to get my life sustaining drugs. Costco used to be very customer focused, it’s now trending lower, much lowerud83dude21.

I was there for a what I thought should be a 3 minute quick walk-in flu shot. The whole process turned out to be much longer (25 to 30 min). There was no line at the time, but the staff there was so disorganized that they simply “forgot” someone was waiting! I had to asked front desk lady how much longer I was supposed to be waiting, and she rudely told me she wouldn’t know because “I don’t work in there”. Speechless.....

No membership required to fill prescription. My insurance would have cost me around $1.50 per pill; here was around $0.30 per pill, no insurance needed. The ℞ was ready in less time than expected and staff very helpful.

Went there and asked if my prescription was sent in and they said it was not.nCalled my doctor who sent me a screenshot of it being sent in 3 hours earlier .nnWent back to the lady at the front desk and she told me she just got it .nnThen she said that it will take 30 min to fill.... I start walking around the store and then I get a phone call telling me it will take 24 hours.nnI come back the next day and it is still not ready ......nnHorrible service

The pharmacy staff are so incompetent! I've had bad experiences on multiple occasions. Doctor's office sends prescription and these guys get one and not the other one. Then I have to call the doctor and have them resend it. They seem to have some computer system upgrade or slowness that seems to always be the excuse.nnEven today the Frisco location transferred a prescription to this East Plano and told me they'll keep it ready. But when I come here after a couple of hours since my call with them, they haven't even pulled up the prescription. He had to start working on it after I came to pickup. Now he said it'll be ready in 15 min... Going 30 min and not ready yet!!! ud83dude0f
