I was a customer of this practice from the time they opened. We brought all of our animals to Dr.Q. Regular Vet visits were routine and fine. However, we recently had a few misdiagnosed incidences. First, a year ago my brothers family had a kitten that apparently had a nerf bullet stuck in his intestines. After about 6 months of visits with no X Rays. My brothers cat was sent to their New Bedford office where one of Dr. Q’s hacks did surgery. They gave the kitten to much fluid while in surgery. Sent him home and the kitten literally drowned according to Tufts Emergency Facility. Which they had to bring him to put him down.nnNext, my 4 and a half year Labrador was favoring her back right leg. Now this is COVID time. He actually saw her. I thought he did XRays. Apparently he did not. But he diagnosed her with a torn meniscus. Ok!! Sent her home with an anti inflammatory and a muscle relaxer. Did that for 3 weeks. She was good for about 2 days and she was favoring it again. I called the office. He would not see her in the office. We did a video call. He was extremely distracted the entire call. Very unprofessional. He put her on the same regimen and another 3 weeks. Now her knee is swelling and she’s not eating. My girl eats her food in 30 seconds flat. This is a big deal. So I call him back. Same unprofessional manner. Will not see us. Another video call with him not paying attention to my questions. Diagnosed her with lymes disease without even taking blood from her. Ok another 21 days goes by. She’s eating now but her knee is growing bigger and bigger. Finally I’m all done. She’s in do much pain. I decided to call Wrentham Animal Hospital. Told them the entire story. They had us there in 15 minutes. Within 5 minutes of the Dr. looking at her knee she knew right away it wasn’t good. Long story short, my girl has bone cancer. Misdiagnosed for 3 months by The North Attleboro Animal Clinic and Dr. Q. She’s had her leg amputated and thankfully it is a slow growing Chondrosarcoma. But maybe we could have saved her leg if it wasn’t for this awful malpractice. I urge anyone who is looking for a Veterinarian to look elsewhere.
The doctor is very involved. The office staff is awesome.
We owe a lot of gratitude to our doctor and his staff. Our cat almost lost his toe. It was hanging by a thread. The night before we went to the Tufts hospital and they did nothing , charged us money, and told us the toe could not be stitched back and had to be amputated!! OUR VET AND HIS TEAM STITCHED THAT TOE BACK!!!! One month later our kitty is happy and out of bandages and off antibiotics. His toe looks and works fine!! I would give 10 stars if I could.
I work for a rescue and we take most of our dogs here there great to us and all our foster pups. I also take my own dogs here to be groomed and vetted. The staff is all amazing and the vet is great and strait to the point. ud83eudd17 the prices are good. And they can always fit me in last min witch is awesome... ud83dude43
Wonderful staff! They had no openings and I have never been there. They told me to bring my cat in anyway. It was a very unpretentious place. Looks like a family home, converted to a animal clinic. The Dr was wearing jeans. He was fantastic with my cat. The techs were both very good as well. My cat is super skittish and about 25 pounds, the tech who took care of him was a tiny lady and she handled him better than I've seen some large men handle him. Nib wasn't scared at all and he didn't even try to run away. I was told everything they were doing, they didn't recommended unnecessary stuff just to make more money. I will be going back and would definitely recommend them.
