I will be contacting the Men's Coalition who recommended Mr.Strickland to us. We waited a year to get to court and when several things transpired we were told we could not present evidence, pictures, etc. and would have to close this case and reopen to file again. We hired another attorney the day after he finally had our court date which he did not notify any of us the time and date of the court appearance. It was by accident from the other party we found out at 8 am to appear at 10:30. Does not return calls promptly and all info given to us was of no use. Our new attorney has done in 4 weeks what he could not accomplish. Very disappointing that he is being recommended by the coalition to help men in child custody cases.

Doesn't listen to the client. Didn't do what was best for the interest of a minor. Didn't complete tasks as asked for by the client. Not the best attorney for custody cases. Couldn't even set up a court case in the appropriate county of residence.

Do not pay this lawyer in full, wait until every thing is done and then pay. We paid in full and from that day on he has done absolutely nothing for us. We had two different court dates that he promised to show, the days came and on neither day he showed up . He never bothered to picked the phone up to update us on our files, and when we called he was very rude.

John is a wonderful attorney and even better guy! He is very knowledgeable and personable when it comes to dealing with legal matters that can sometimes be difficult to handle. I highly recommend him.
